Katharina Husslein
Moments poured like Wine by K.Husslein Impasto Flower Dinner Food Table Painting

2025

About the Item

In Katharina Husslein’s latest collection, richly textured table scenes come to life through her signature impasto technique and expressive brushwork. Moving beyond her earlier floral-focused works, these new paintings capture intimate, celebratory moments—tables adorned with glowing candles, lush floral arrangements, and inviting displays of food. Husslein masterfully blends abstraction with recognizable forms, using bold color contrasts and thick, layered paint to evoke the warmth and vibrancy of shared gatherings. Each canvas brims with atmosphere, drawing the viewer into a world where the sensory pleasures of scent, taste, and light seem almost tangible. This series marks a departure from her more controlled floral still lifes, embracing a freer, more spontaneous energy inspired by real-life table settings and the emotional resonance of communal experiences. Each one-of-a-kind oil painting is signed by the artist on the back. The sides are painted as a continuation of the front, giving a finished look that does not require framing. Ready to hang, the work includes professional wiring for effortless installation.
