East End artist, John Crimmins was born in New York in 1963. As an American Impressionist painter, he lives in New York and he is very active in the Hamptons. Incredibly, he is self-taught, having studied the works and techniques of the prominent American artist Charles Hawthorne and living by his saying “Let Color make form”. If you view John’s paintings at close inspection you will see single spots of color silhouetted with another which not only shows his skill but his passion and intricate dedication to his work. His paintings are done 'alla prima', that in Italian means 'at first attempt', it is a painting technique, used mostly in oil painting, in which layers of wet paint are applied to previously administered layers of wet paint. With this style of painting the work is to be completed while the paint is still wet, so once started his works are finished in one session.
He is a member of the East End Arts Council and his paintings are a part of the Ken Ratner Collection and the Southold Historical Society in New York. Emilio Grau Sala came from a family of artists. He was born in Barcelona in 1911 and his father, a good cartoonist, had been one of the promoters of the "Salon des Humanistes" and made his exhibitions normally in "Sala Parés", Barcelona.
His first works were exhibited at the Salon des Independents. In the years 1930-33 he had painted under the influence of Cubism, especially that of Torres García. It is from that time a painting of the port of Barcelona, geometric and structural, which completely anticipated what would later be his work. His personality began fully painting watercolors and oils with a certain fantasy character, with a point of decorative instinct and themes full of naivety and grace. Romantic interiors, paddocks, port scenes, sailors, etc.
Grau Sala was essentially a Mediterranean painter, son of post-impressionism and enriched with French painting of the last fifty years. Mediterranean because his work has the color and light of that land.
He understood and assimilated impressionist painting very well, and for that reason he was never subject to the modules of a formulist realism, nor the sexigencias of the forms.
In Paris he found the best environment to give us a fruitful and intense work, because he could use the expressive potential of French art to enrich it.
All this made him a very esteemed artist everywhere where his work was known. He was also very often required to illustrate books and publications in Paris. Also his posters were very successful.
He painted a large number of subjects, but perhaps the theme of horse racing is where you can see in a very clear way the joyful and optimistic life that was lived at that time. In this fabric there is an explosion of juicy and vivid colors full of ingenuity and simplicity in its composition. Only a teacher could turn the complicated into something simple and beautiful. Before this work we feel a deep emotion, the emotion of before starting a horse race. Joy and nervousness at the same time. Especially since it is a direct emotion. There are no intermediaries between our eyes and what the work intends to tell us. This is precisely what seduces and catches us of this painting.

Paddy Japaljarri Stewart came from Mungapunju in Australia, just south of Yuendumu in the Northern Territory. As a young man he worked on cattle properties at Mount Allen, Mount Dennison and other parts of Australia's 'top end'. He acquired the nickname 'Cookie' while working as a chef in Papunya. At the Yuendumu School he taught both kardiya (non-Aboriginal) and yapa (Aboriginal) children to paint, Jukurrpa (Dreaming), traditional dances, boomerang-making, how to track native animals, how to make wax used in sand painting, and other aspects of traditional culture. Larry Horowitz is an American landscape painter. He was born in 1956 in New York City and graduated from SUNY Purchase and immediately won the prestigious and coveted position as apprentice to Wolf Kahn. Horowitz's work captures the beauty of the American landscape with expert use of texture and color that invites imagination and discovery. Although he paints en plein air, he has a firm grounding in abstract expressionism through his education with former students from the Bauhaus and Hans Hofmann school. He has combined both points of view to develop his unique language. His work follows in the tradition of great Modernist American landscape painters Arthur Dove, Georgia O'Keefe and Charles Burchfield but with a more modern, Fauvist color palette. He was included in the show "In the Country, By the Sea" at Madelyn Jordan Gallery along with David Kimball Anderson, Stanley Boxer, Byron Browne, Derek Buckner, Richard Diebenkorn, Larry Kelsey, Gary Komarin, and Susan Wides.
Horowitz has also shown at Images Gallery along with Gary Bukovnik, Helen Frankenthaler, Larry Horowitz, Alex Katz, Robert Motherwell, Don Nice, Philip Pearlstein, Joseph Raffael, Hunt Slonem, Carol Summers and Neil Welliver. Horowitz has exhibited extensively both in the US and Canada and is included in numerous private, corporate and public collections.

Ignacio Gil Sala, was a painter, bohemian character, adventurous and intrepid traveler who knew how to capture his eyes to that world with his painting. After starting his artistic training at the age of nine, Gil Sala entered the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona, where he had as teachers Felix Mestres and Vicente Borrás. Already in 1930, being still almost an apprentice, he obtained the bronze medal of the School, and in 1936 he won by contest a scholarship to make a study trip through Spain.
