About the Item
The painting depicts a cafe in the Venetian palazzo Ca Pesaro. A young man in a gray sweater (the author of the painting) sits at a table with a cup of coffee. He is experiencing some of the happiest moments of his life, as he is in the most beautiful and beloved city, which he looks at with a smile through the window. In the window of the palazzo we see the Grand Canal, which occupies the main space. The canal reflects the palaces and buildings of the opposite bank, their lit windows. On the left, a vaporetto (a boat) with a burning headlight floats out. The mirror-like surface of the water is covered with ripples in places. On the right, we see a fragment of a column - an architectural element of the palazzo. The color scheme of the painting corresponds to the color scheme of Venice - a combination of turquoise and terracotta.

Dmitry graduated from the Moscow Secondary Art School at the Surikov Institute and the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. In 2007, the publishing house "White City" released a monograph with reproductions of his paintings in the series "Masters of Painting".
