Erte (Romain de Tirtoff) Russian/French 1892-1990. "Les Rois de Legendes #24 Musicien" The Kings Of Legend #24 Musician. A beautiful, original gouache and ink piece (this is not a lithograph/print/multiple but a one-of-a-kind original piece of artwork). Painted by the master of art deco. Containing beautiful detail work on the robes in metallic golds. Unlike many of his costume pieces, this portraiture contains a full face of detail as he blows into the instrument. A great work for any collection and one that cannot be duplicated. Signed in blue ink on front, titled in pencil on the back. Purple ink stamp verso: Composition Orignals. Watermark: 1915 England. Sheet size: 10” x 14 3/4“
