About the Item
The painting has a slightly course texture from a thick & sculpted application of gesso in the beginning before any paint was applied. Hanging hardware is included. Materials include: Gesso, acrylic paint, dyes & charcoals. I live on the coast & love to paint my abstract visions of coastal scenes. Every day is a different scene, every minute things are changing, depending on the season, time of day, cloud cover or sunshine, sunrise or sunset, movement of wildlife & angle of the sun or moon. All of these things are changing as the day progresses, offering the viewer a different & constantly moving scene. I hope the viewer can see the natural world through this painting. Feel the sunshine & the trade winds blowing in from the Caribbean during a long summer. Hear the laughing gulls as they stay busy all day looking for food or trying to steal yours.
