About the Item
"La Luna" is about being pregnant and looking into the future. Sometimes it seems like night is coming on and day light will never come. The sunflowers are the reassurance that the sun will come up tomorrow. Remembering them gets us through the night. The future baby is positioned in a vesica piscis if you are into sacred geometry. I have never given birth, but I am a father of three and uncle of 14 and have seen the burden woman carry to bring new life. Woman are amazing! This is what has inspired this painting. "La Luna" is painted on hardboard.
