Titled “Bateaux”—the French word for “boats”—this vibrant oil painting by Fanch Lel captures a windswept harbour scene under shifting skies. Three boats, painted in rich hues of blue, pink, and yellow, rest on the shore at low tide, their dark hulls contrasting against a sandy foreground streaked with warm ochre and grey-blue tones.
