Jordi Curós Ventura (Olot, Gerona, 1930 - Barcelona, 2017) Pintor y grabador.
Nacido en Olot en 1930, a partir de una inicial formación artística en la Escuela de Artes de su ciudad natal, trabajó en los talleres de imaginería religiosa de Olot El Arte Cristiano. A principios de los años cincuenta, un grupo inquieto de artistas gerundenses constituyeron el colectivo Indika, uno de los primeros grupos de vanguardia del país. En 1954 obtuvo una beca del Instituto Francés de Barcelona para estudiar en París. A su regreso se instaló definitivamente en Barcelona. En el año 1958, el Ayuntamiento barcelonés le concedió otra beca para ampliar estudios en París. Es la etapa del informalismo, que abandonó a mediados de los años sesenta, coincidiendo con la entrada en la sala Parés de Barcelona, dando paso a una pintura más figurativa, línea en la cual se mantuvo posteriormente.
