About the Item
In this piece, I aimed to capture the first rays of sunshine through a summer rain shower. As the light floods across the fields and mountains of Conwy, North Wales, it ignites the golden tones of the marram grasses in the foreground. My paintings are often inspired by my love and fascination with ever-changing skies and cloud formation. I try to capture the movement and mood of the skies, land and sea - Calm and dreamy, to dramatic and surreal.
