Street photographer Mithcell Funk achieves a heightened a dramatic effect of color as he shoots the reflection of the street art in a car. Through Funk's lens, the car becomes the wall. The car sheds its manufacturer's identity and takes on a new identity of street art. This collaboration of car and wall results in an infectiously stunning graphic.

Mitchell Funk brings the compositional precision of studio photography to street photography. Unlike most street photographers, Funk is an abstractionist while being a documentarian. Mitchell Funk is a pioneer of " Color Photography" In 1970 he participated in one the first " Color Photography" shows at a major museum. Mitchell Funk
Mitchell Funk is a pioneer of color photography. In 1970, he participated in one of the first color photography shows at the Brooklyn Museum titled “Images en Couleur." In 1971, he was included in the visionary books Frontiers of Photography and Color (Life Library of Photography), both published by Time-Life. He has done more than 50 photography magazine covers, including covers for Newsweek and Life.
