The Exploited, New York Punk photograph 1985: Original 1980s darkroom print photographed by Fernando Natalici on occasion of a gig by The Exploited with U.K. Subs, U.S. Chaos, and Cro-Mags at the Rock Hotel in New York City on April 13, 1985. Silver Gelatin Print. Dimensions: 10x8 inches. Hand signed & numbered by Natalici on the reverse from an edition of 4 AP’s (artist proofs). Good overall vintage condition. About Fernando Natalici: New York based photographer Fernando Natalici is best known for his iconographic documentation of the downtown Manhattan art scene of the mid/late 70's and early 80's. Natalici’s portfolio includes sought after images of a young Patti Smith, Blondie, Talking Heads, Keith Haring, The Ramones and more. As an Art Director, Fernando has played a key role in creating memorable visuals for historic NY venues such as CBGB's, The Mudd Club, Area and Danceteria. Fernando’s art design featured in the Jeffrey Deitch curated show “Area” at The Hole Gallery NYC in 2013, with his film stills from "Unmade Beds" & "The Foreigner"- two of the most significant underground films of the 1970’s New York Punk scene, exhibited at The Museum of The Moving Image in 2015. They signed to Secret Records in March 1981, and their debut EP, Army Life, and debut album, Punks Not Dead, were both released that year. The band maintained a large cult following in the 1980s among a hardcore working class punk and skinhead audience. Originally a street punk band, the Exploited eventually evolved into a crossover thrash band with the release of their album Death Before Dishonour in 1987. Related Categories Street Art. After performing in the short-lived Washington, D.C. band State of Alert in 1980, Rollins fronted the California hardcore punk band Black Flag from August 1981 until mid-1986. Following the band's breakup, Rollins established the record label and publishing company 2.13.61 to release his spoken word albums, and formed the Rollins Band, which toured with a number of lineups from 1987 until 2003, and during 2006. Since Black Flag disbanded, Rollins has hosted numerous radio shows, such as Harmony in My Head on Indie 103, and television shows such as The Henry Rollins Show, MTV's 120 Minutes, and Jackass. He had recurring dramatic roles in the second season of Sons of Anarchy, in the final seasons of the animated series The Legend of Korra as Zaheer, and has also had roles in several films.
