Katie Barnes’s work as a photographer is fueled by her passion for the environment. She holds degrees in both Fisheries and Wildlife and Photojournalism, and she sees curiosity as the link between these fields of expertise and her work as an artist. She was brought up in a family that revered and explored nature together, with vacations spent outdoors and in tents, in National Parks around the country. Years later, the natural world has become her favorite muse.
