It will be devoted progressively more strongly to drawing and painting, and finally left his law studies to dedicate himself entirely to art. Cofounder of "Dau al Set" in 1948, began to exhibit in the Halls Barcelona October and in the Hall of Eleven held in Madrid in 1949. After making his first solo show in Layetanas Galleries, travels to Paris in 1950 scholarship from the French Institute. In these years begins its participation in the Venice Biennale, restates in Layetanas and after a show in Chicago, in 1953 it exposes individually in the New York Martha Jackson Gallery.
