Colour woodblock, finished by hand, by Benjamin Fawcett (1808-1893) after Alexander Francis Lydon (1836-1917). From WT Greene's 'Parrots In Captivity'. Alexander Francis Lydon was an English watercolour artist, illustrator and engraver of natural history and landscapes. Benjamin Fawcett was a renowned 19th century colour printer.
