Original transfer monotype painting by California artist Heather Speck (American, 20th C). Boldly colored close up of a cat's face. The cat's eyes of hazel and green are the focal point, with a burgundy nose and colors of orange and red making up the fur.
Initialed on verso "HS"
Presented in a new yellow mat.

Heather Speck exhibited in San Francisco. She studied figure and non objective painting. Her broad brush strokes and bold colors are in the style of San Francisco Figurative movement artist James Weeks and William Daw. Unsigned, from a collection of her signed works we acquired from a retired San Francisco framing studio.
