Théâtre des Variétés is an original Hand-colored etching on paper realized in 1820 ca. by the french engraver Godefroy Engelmann. With the description on the lower, at the top and on the rear in French. Good conditions, except for central folding. The artwork represents thetrical characters in the scenery of Théâtre des Variétés, depicted by precise and delicate strokes, through vivid and bright colors, in a harmonious manner, The artist's efforts indicate the perfect applying of aesthetic features. The Théâtre des Variétés is a theater and "salle de spectacles" at 7–8, boulevard Montmartre, 2nd arrondissement, in Paris. It was declared a historical monument in 1975.
