Dawn had not yet arrived when I got to the salt marsh and this is the view that greeted me. A barn owl was hunting for field voles flushed by the rising tide. As twilight gives way to daybreak the black of night is chased away revealing more colour in the sky and salt marsh. Each woodcut in this series is individually hand printed so each print is unique. At least 4 hand-carved woodblocks were used to create this print which was built up in several textural layers.
