Le Mannequin is an original Vintage PhotoLitograph realized by Jean Cocteau in mid-20th century. Good condition on a white paper. No signature. Jean Cocteau, born on July 5 , 1889 at Maisons-Laffitte 3 and died on October 11 , 1963 in Milly-la-Forêt , is a French poet , painter , designer , playwright and filmmaker . Elected to the French Academy in 1955 and are among the artists who have marked the xx th century, it has rubbed most of those who led the artistic life of his time. He was the impresario of his time, the trendsetter, the good genius of countless artists. Despite his literary works and his artistic talents, Jean Cocteau always insisted on the fact that he was above all a poet and that all work is poetic.

Some have theorized that the image is close to that of the artist's brother, Professor Charles Durieux. In the electron print technique, radioactive isotopes are mixed with printing ink. A drawing is made and exposed face-to-face to paper coated with a radio-sensitized substance.
