Good conditions, except for some very light folds along the margins.
This contemporary artwork represents a surreal composition where the artist, like in most of his artworks, refers to not only avant-garde art, but also elements from languages that are considered "minor", such as comic strips, illustrations, and cinema genre.
Sarri also enjoys collecting advertising images from newspaper clippings to reassemble them and reuse them in the construction of his artworks. This original artwork shows robot machines, a quote from Antonine Artaud, and the profile of Dick Tracy, the
fictional police detective in the American comic strip Dick Tracy created by Chester Gould in 1931.

Sergio Sarri
Sergio Sarri is an Italian artist, born in 1938 in Turin. His theme is the relationship between the man and the machine. He paints using distinctive brushstrokes and leaves hard unpolished edges. There is a typical retro color palette present in his works and he uses it to emphasize the sharp and crisp nature of mechanical creations. All of his paintings reference the machines in metaphorical and slightly dark manner.

A portrait of a figure from the back of their head, rendered in scratching and sporadic lines, many of which seem to burst forth from the figure's skull. Surrounding the subject are several lines of text, written backwards in German. These lines were likely written in the correct orientation in the etching plate, causing them to be printed backward. The print includes a reversed signature in the plate as well as a signature and number in pencil and a red signature chop.
