Hand signed lower right, from the edition of 15 prints. A very rare etching by Theodore Stravinsky.
Théodore Strawinsky (St. Petersburg, 1907 – Genève, 1989) was a Russian painter. Son of Igor Strawinsky and Catherine Nossenko, he spent his childhood in Russia. In 1910, his family moved to Swiss and then to France. Théodore began to paint when he was young. In France, the young painter sought, above all, to acquire a rigorous and in-depth technique. In 1927, he exhibited for the first time in Paris. After his first period of activity, he decorated several churches in different countries. Strawinsky's slavic and orthodox origins have been decisive for the development of his artistic personality.
