Untitled, in the manner of Paul Klee

Circa 1960

About

This elegant etching was realized by an unheralded Mid Century artist, in the manner of Paul Klee. It features a stylized and abstracted human form with long locks of curled hair and arms outstretched. The figure appears to be captured in mid stride, running towards an orbital form (perhaps a soccer ball) along a muted yellow path. The face is indicated by a demilune form representing a mouth and two spherical points creating the eyes. With its dynamic form and clean modernist lines, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It comes presented in a white gilt gallery frame and is in excellent vintage condition. The piece is signed "ibah".
