About the Item
Pianta Di Roma e Dell'Esposizione is an original print realized in 1911 on a drawing by Ludovico Beranger.
Black and white etching.
The artwork was realized as an homage from Pola and Todescan Company to foreigners ("Omaggio della Ditta Pola e Todescan di Mentore Pola ai signori forestieri"). Printed by Fratelli Capaccini, Rome.
The map represents all the monuments and tourist attractions of Rome and the exhibition pavilions (including the regional and ethnographic sector). The artwork was realized in occasion of The Ethnographic Exhibition of 1911 that took place in via Guido Reni. From its inheritance, the EUR National Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions was established.
