Signed, titled and numbered in pencil from the edition of 40. Atmospheric mezzotint still life of two roses.
Marina Lazareva was born in Moscow in 1961. She is a member of Union of Arts of Russia and of the International Mezzotint Society. She works mostly in traditional mezzotint technique which she was taught in the studio of Vladimir Samarin who is one of the best Russian experts of this complicated and labor-intensive technique.
The main focus of Marina's creative output ranges from genre-miniature, still-life, lyric landscapes to majestic views of native architecture.
Marina is a participant of many exhibitions including international ones.
Lazareva's mezzotints are in museums and private collections worldwide including:
Museum of Books, Russian State Library
State Museum of Fine Arts after Pushkin.
