The EROTIKON exhibition evokes desire and attraction, the relationship between Man and Woman, the perpetual quest for Love, but also the meeting of Man and Nature who engage in a communion of the senses.
Alekos Fassianos (1935) is one of Greece's most popular contemporary visual artists. He graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts. Fassianos used to design the stage decorations for major classic and modern productions, Following a short period which can be characterized as abstract (1957-1958), he adopted a very personal style for his paintings that are now exclusively figurative. Fassianos’ artworks have been exhibited in the world’s most renowned museums and galleries.
