Complete size of triptych: H:89.1cm x W:127.5cm x D:0.1cm Our ancestors measured the passing of Winter with the appearance of each full moon, the Cold Moon, Wolf Moon and Snow Moon. These images seek to reflect the stillness of Winter and the appearance of each full moon above the Cotswold escarpment near the village of Guiting Power, Gloucestershire. Spending time in the landscape Sarah seeks to explore our connection with the natural world and the liminality and cyclical nature of time. Sarah makes her images using in-camera multiple exposures combined with other techniques including mark marking. These photographic images are individually hand printed using archival quality pigment inks on Hahnemühle fine art paper. The image size includes an appropriately sized white border where each print is signed, titled and numbered by the artist.
