THE EXPEDITION by the woman artist Robin Morris, is an original limited edition lithograph(not a photo reproduction or digital print) printed in 15 colors using hand lithography techniques with metallic gold silkscreen on archival Arches paper, 100% acid free. THE EXPEDITION is an amusing contemporary style group portrait featuring members of an African safari adventure expedition dressed in khaki safari suits. The expedition team is positioned beneath a canopy of lush green jungle foliage, staring at the viewer; one person with sunglasses, the others with open-eyed gazes. Ms. Morris utilizes her characteristic Art Deco stylized drawing in creating this eye-catching expedition team portrait comprised of a background featuring large airbrush shaded green leaves with two men and two women all wearing brown-yellow khaki outfits; the women's hats are accented with metallic gold silkscreened netting. THE EXPEDITION is an early limited edition lithograph produced by Robin Morris in 1984, a very unique and rarely seen colorful handmade lithograph .
