About the Item
Rencontres, or chance encounter, is a seemingly random assemblage of seashells, pine cones, and a children's spinning top. From a signed and numbered edition of 35, some of which were used in an accordian style artists book.
Judith Rothchild is an American born artist, having grown up in Boston, Massachusett. She now lives in the Languedoc region of France where she has been producing beautifully rendered individual mezzotints and illustrated books since 1996.
Her work has been exhibited at more than thirty solo exhibitions throughout the United States and Europe, and is in numerous public collections.

Judith Rothchild
Judith Rothchild is an American born artist, having grown up in Boston, Massachusetts. She now lives in the Languedoc region of France, where she has been producing beautifully rendered individual mezzotints and illustrated books since 1996.
