About the Artist:
JUDiTH+ROLFE is a bespoke paper art studio, currently based in the suburbs just outside of Richmond, Virginia. Daphne Lee is the artisan behind JUDiTH+ROLFE, she is a Singaporean-born Chinese paper artist who specializes in creating contemporary dimensional artwork out of on-edge paper strips. After graduating with a bachelor of architecture degree from Cornell University, and subsequently building a decade-long career as an architect in New York City, she fortuitously discovered her love of paper crafting after creating some personalized handmade gifts out of paper. The studio was launched in 2016 following a move to Minneapolis–Saint Paul, and has since relocated to Virginia. Her work is inspired by the beauty in nature, light and shadow, architecture and geometry. JUDiTH+ROLFE artwork has been exhibited in galleries and museums, and can also be found in private collections all around the world. The work has been featured on media outlets such as Twin Cities PBS and Colossal. In addition to fine art commissions, JUDiTH+ROLFE has also collaborated with and worked on installations for corporate clients. Select clients include Allbirds, Estée Lauder, Fiskars, Hoegaarden, and Marriott International.

Make Me A Believer, Original Contemporary Mixed Media Geometric Abstraction
24" x 24" x 2" (HxWxD) Repurposed paper on panel
Hand-signed by the artist.
Artist Glenn Fischer repurposes various papers and print materials, cutting up different sections of color, and combines them into newly imagined geometric abstract compositions. The combination of the circular centerpiece and the linear nature of the cuts is reminiscent of a sunrise or sunset as it passes over a horizon line. In this case, Fischer has combined various shades of yellow, red, and green to stand against the white brick lay of the negative space...

Joy Buddies
Located in Boston, MA
Artist Commentary:
The Joy Buddies were created from a simple question I asked myself - if joy were tangible, what would it look like? The Joy Buddies message is that we are better, together. I created them to symbolize the joy and hope I feel like I come together in unity with the people I love. Over the years, they have exhibited across the country in various sculptural and digital art forms but always keeping true to their same human-like shape and fire-painted designs.
