Gabriele D'Annunzio Portrait is an original decorative object realized in the XX century by Aurelio Mistruzzi. The beautiful wax object represents a profile of the famous vate poet Gabriele D'Annunzio. Aurelio Mistruzzi (1880 – 1960) was an Italian sculptor and medalist. The production of Mistruzzi in the fields of medals and coinage concerned not only the civil sphere but also the Vatican, for which he designed annual commemorative and jubilee medals. He was also recognized as a monumental sculptor: in addition to the monuments to the fallen of the Great War, he dedicated himself to cemetery sculpture, as well as to numerous other requests from private clients. This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist who has died requires a licence for export regardless of the work’s market price. The shipping may require additional handling days to require the licence according to the final destination of the artwork.
