ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Denny Haskew currently resides in Loveland, Colorado where he is actively engaged in the art industry as a sculptor. He received his degree from the University of Utah, then served two years in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Having spent numerous years as a guide and ski instructor, Denny has learned to love the rivers and mountains of the western states of Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, and Utah. Elizabeth Freire is a Brazilian-born, contemporary American artist. At the age of eighteen, she left Rio de Janeiro and moved to Paris to study sculpture at l’Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts, receiving her Diploma there in 1979 under the direction of Claude Viseux, Etienne Martin, and Cesar. During that time she worked as an apprentice at the Fonderie de France where she learned bronze technique and she also attended etching courses at l’Ecole de Montparnasse.
In 1976, she won a commission to make three life-size figures representing the printing company, “Les Imprimeries de Boulogne,” at the International Printing Fair in Paris. She spent 1977 in Aix-en-Provence where she carved the local stone of Rogne.
Returning to Paris, the painter Lutka Pink introduced her to Otero, Frans Krajcberg and Hajdu from whom she received valuable lessons. In 1978, she traveled to Brazil where she was invited to participate in the exhibit ‘A Century of Sculpture in Brazil’. She also met with the sculptor Sergio Camargo...

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
A native of Sweden, Kent Ullberg is recognized as one of the world's foremost wildlife sculptors. He studied at the Swedish University College of Art in Stockholm and worked at museums in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Africa and Denver, CO. After living in Botswana, Africa, for seven years he has made his home permanently in the United States where he now lives on Padre Island, Corpus Christi, TX. He also maintains a studio in Loveland, CO.
Ullberg is a member of numerous art organizations and has been honored with many prestigious awards. In 1990 his peers elected him a Full Academician (NA), thus making him the first wildlife artist since John James Audubon to receive one of the greatest tributes in American art. A selection of his memberships include the National Sculpture Society; the American Society of Marine Art; the Allied Artists of America; Nature in Art, Sandhurst, UK; the National Academy of Western Art in Oklahoma City, OK which awarded him the Prix de West, the foremost recognition in Western Art. In 2010 he received the Briscoe Legacy Award and in 2016 the lifetime achievement award from the Society of Animal Artists.

Maestro Willem Botha was born in South Africa in 1962.
Today he lives in Bulgaria and works in a creative workshop in Sofia.
Willem started his career as Sculptor at Shows and Exhibitions in the South African Defense Force in 1981. He was mentored by Artists like Andre Prinsloo and Jan van Der Merwe.
In 1986, he moved to Namibia where he was a Sculptor for the Windhoek State Museum. During the time in Windhoek, he had several one man and group expeditions in various galleries in Windhoek and Swakopmund.
In 1988 he was commissioned to remake the Atlas Sculpture on the House Hohenzollern Building in Swakopmund.
In 1990, he moved to Town where he sculpted full time. Willem did some freelance work for Jean Doyle, helping with the bronze casting of her work. During his time in Cape Town, he exhibited in several galleries in and around Cape Town.
In 1991, he moved to Graskop, where he continued full time sculpting and he opened his own foundry.
He moved back to Pretoria in 1992, to continue sculpting and established Art Cast Foundry. In the same year he was commissioned to do several decorative works for the Palace of Sun City, that includes, all the doors bronze handles. Dublin born sculptor Ian Pollock is primarily a self-taught artist who has spent his career working in the Cast Foundry in the Liberties area of Dublin. Working exclusively in bronze, Pollock has worked with art ever since he was a young child. His work is a three dimensional diary of his daily existence. His bronzes are cast using a 'cire perdue' (lost wax) method in ceramic shell moulds. In the pursuit of excellence, he has compiled meticulous craftsmanship in the medium of bronze sculpture.
Inspiration for his sculptures comes from aspects of daily life, Pollock sees his work 'as a three dimensional diary' of his life; "I never limit myself to one subject or style of work and can never say where the work will go next, which makes it exciting for myself and I hope for the viewer. I like the fact that bronze is so permanent, a bronze sculpture is going to be around forever".
Pollock has exhibited and sold his work throughout Ireland and the UK; including the Oireachtas, RHA, and the RUA (where he won the Mullan Prize for sculpture in 2003).
Pollock's work can be found in the collections of the Office of Public Works and University College Dublin, as well as many private collections in Europe and the USA. Large commissions include an eleven foot flight of birds for Largy College in Clones, Co. Monaghan, along with many life size private commissions.
