Penguin C "Ballance" realism wildlife sculpture artwork-contemporary Wall art

About the Item

This exceptional artwork is currently on display and available for sale at Signet Contemporary Art Gallery and online. Limited edition of 25 Graceful yet off-balance, Penguin C captures the delicate moment of hesitation before a leap. With one foot raised and wings slightly extended, the painted porcelain penguin teeters on the edge of its icy platform, creating a sense of anticipation and movement. The careful sculpting of its form, combined with the subtle shading of its features, gives the piece a strong sense of character—both endearing and expressive. Sanderman’s approach to minimalism allows the composition to shine through its refined simplicity. The contrast between the sleek black and white porcelain and the soft, sky-blue velvet background enhances the sense of depth, making the figure stand out as if it is truly perched in an arctic expanse. The warm orange accents around the head provide just the right amount of color variation, subtly drawing the eye to the penguin’s inquisitive expression. A wonderful addition to any contemporary art collection, Penguin C is signed and ready to be displayed. This unique piece is currently available for purchase at Signet Contemporary Art in Chelsea and online.
