About the Item
"I create this sculpture at the very beginning of my career. I sculpted it from a real model. The girl was very lost in her thoughts or dreamed of something. Her body was relaxed and beautiful, the pose a little shy. I tried to catch her thoughtfulness. This seemed to me to be a very important condition. Later, she said that she dreamed of becoming a film actress and shining on the big screens. I hope her dream has come true.."
Born in 1954. 1976-1982 – graduated National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Department of sculpture.
2001 – Awarded with a title of Honored Artist of Ukraine. Work as a sculptor for more then 40 years. Participated exhibitions and fairs locally and worldwide. Had about 15 solo art shows While studying, Radionov worked as an assistant in National Opera Theater of Ukraine. Lives in Kyiv, Ukraine. 2001 – Awarded with a title of Honored Artist of Ukraine.
