Born in 1974, the artist studied at "Beaux Arts de Paris". His works are exhibited in international galleries and fairs, in Vienna, Paris, Zurich, Moscow and New York, Berlin, Cologne, London and Miami. "Between photographic inspiration and hyper-realism, Raphaël Renaud's paintings disturb the viewer's perception through their profusion, particularly in their city motifs. Their bright, cheerful brushstrokes give the form an abstraction that only hindsight allows us to apprehend as a meaningful whole. Notes of light and waltzes of colour come together in peaceful contemplation.
