André Jacquemin was born in Epinal, France in 1904. While attending art school in Paris he studied under Charles Walter, where he learnt the techniques of etching and practiced by copying the most famous artists and visited all the museums to learn more about the masterpieces of past and present. In 1925, he underwent military service at Fort de Domont outside Paris together with Louis-Joseph Soulas and Edouard Mac-Avoy. Four years later, with a few other up-and-coming artists including Yves Alix, Amédée de la Patellière and Jacques Villon, André Jacquemin founded "la jeune Gravure Contemporaine", a society of Printmakers.
In 1930, he simultaneously received the Foundation Florence Blumenthal prize and an allowance to go on a study trip from Spain to Morocco for 14 months. Back from Morocco, his career developed very rapidly. At the beginning of 1932, he exhibited his work at the Simonson gallery. It was a success: he sold everything he had done in Morocco and Spain. The same year, he was elected as a fellow of the French Society of Painter-Etchers/Engravers (Peintres Graveurs Français). In 1936, he was awarded the national arts prize, given for the first time to an etcher. Wogelmut was the teacher of Albrecht Durer and employed young Durer in many project of the last decade of the 15th century.
Michel Wolgemut Biography
Wolgemut trained with his father Valentin Wolgemut (who died in 1469 or 1470) and is thought to have been an assistant to Hans Pleydenwurff in Nuremberg. He worked with Gabriel Malesskircher in Munich early in 1471, leaving the city after unsuccessfully suing Malesskircher's daughter for breach of contract, claiming she had broken off their engagement. He then returned to his late father's workshop in Nuremberg, which his mother had maintained since Valentin's death.
In 1472 he married Pleydenwurff's widow and took over his workshop;[3] her son Wilhelm Pleydenwurff worked as an assistant, and from 1491 a partner, to Wolgemut. Some consider Wilhelm a finer artist than Wolgemut, however he died in January 1494, when he was probably still in his thirties. Wilhelm's oeuvre remains unclear, though works in various media have been attributed to him.

Myers was born on April 16, 1936, in Racine, Wisconsin. She began her studies at the San Francisco Art Institute, but soon transferred to the University of Wisconsin–Madison where she earned a BS in 1962, and an MFA in 1965.
Myers employed a variety of printmaking techniques in her career including "relief, photo-etching, and mixed media processes."
Myers is best known for her prints depicting various buildings.
