Lowell Merritt Lee Art
Lowell Merritt Lee was born in 1905 in Oscoda, Michigan. He studied in Cleveland School of Art, Ohio. He was instrumental in the 1935 formation of a group known as Milwaukee Printmakers, and he served as the first president. One of the projects of the Milwaukee Printmakers was the production of a calendar that featured their work. Lee's work was featured in the calendars, along with many other artists.
