Nicola Tyson is a British painter who lives in New York. Tyson was born in London in 1960. She attended Chelsea School of Art, London (1979–80) and Central St. Martins, London (1980–81 and 1986–89). Although Tyson works in many media including sculpture, she is best known as a figurative painter.
