Founded in 1979, Chiloian Gallery is a retailer and restorer of antique carpets, rugs & textiles. We can proudly claim a collection of 1,000+ unique antique weavings from Persia, the Caucasus, Anatolia, India, and other rug-weaving regions of the world. 2946- Bakshaish Carpet. Origin: Northwest Persia. Age: 3rd quarter of 19th century. Size: 352 x 570 cm (11’7” x 18’8”). This magnificent Bakshaish carpet has been expertly woven during the golden age of Bakshaish carpet weaving presenting magnanimous scale and an alluring color palette. Combining classical Persian elements with abstractions typical of the region’s weavers leads to a truly one-of-a-kind Bakshaish masterpiece.

Serapi Carpet. Northwest Persia. Late 19th Century.

2999- Ziegler Sultanabad Carpet. Origin: Northwest Persia Approx. Age: 4th quarter of 19th century. Size: 385 x 515 cm (12’8” x 16’11”). A truly graceful Ziegler Sultanabad carpet oozing much elegance, class, and purpose. Be it the oversized flowers and palmettes or the elegant color palette, the elements of this carpet combine to create a palatial piece capable of enriching almost any setting.

4841- Kazak Lori Pambak Rug. Origin: West Caucasus. Age: 3rd quarter of 19th century. Size: 165 x 220 cm (12’6” x 7’3”). Bold colors and designs make for a powerful Lori Pambak rug weaved in the traditional sense with the weaver's touch manifested in the tribal motifs found in the field. A celebration of both classical designs and improvizations simultaneously.
