More About The M Downtown

FOUND FURNITURE + ART + OBJECTS for fine folk whose style is all their own. We offer an eclectic rotating collection of vintage furniture, art, and objects with a soft focus on reupholstered vintage seating.

We started curating and selling in neighboring booths at The Antique Company Mall on the historic square in downtown McKinney, Texas.

We then joined forces to create THE M, and now fill a 5,000 sq. ft warehouse with unique pieces we source from all over. Twice a year we haul our entire collection to Blue Hills at the Round Top, TX Antique Festival.

We are in this together, thus we are THEM.

Our intuition is the deciding factor on whether or not a piece comes home with us to our McKinney warehouse. Does it have good lines? How does it feel in a space? What purpose does it serve?

We tend to favor mid-century through post-modern design, but if the piece tells a great story, we’re bringing it home.

We source mid-century, primitive, industrial, and other vintage pieces, bringing them new life and inspiring our customers’ desires to have their home truly shine as a one-of-a-kind space.

“The best way to accomplish serious design...is to be totally and completely unqualified for the job.” – Paula Scher

"Everything is designed. Few things are designed well." -Brian Reed

Our happy place is the Round Top Antiques Festival. Twice a year, in the spring and fall the small Texas town of Round Top swells from its population of 90 to a few hundred thousand during the Round Top Antiques Festival. The antiques show is the largest of its kind in the country, stretching over 11 miles on either side of Texas State Highway 237. You can find our tent in Blue Hills every March and October. We hope to see you there!
