Max Collins Art

American, b. 1988

Max Collins is a photographer, a public muralist, and an arts educator currently living and working in Portland, Oregon. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in fine art and journalism from the University of Michigan and has done projects in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. Collins is interested in using wheat paste, an adhesive commonly used in wallpaper application, to adhere his large-scale photographs to a variety of surfaces in public spaces and as individual objects.
