Set of 5 Collectible Authentic Hermès Plates These plates were made to celebrate the equestrian "Prix de Diane" and was sponsored by Hermès Paris. This event takes place at Chantilly Racecourse, FRANCE. "Created in 1843, the "Prix de Diane" honors the best filly of 3 years and aims to bring it to the Grail, the "Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe". Around the formidable sporting aspect, the Prix de Diane has become over time the price of elegance and glamor." Hermès sponsored this event from 1982 to 2008 A country was honored every year: 1987: Chantilly à l'heure royale du Maroc (Morocco) 1988: Chantily Nouveau Monde (USA) 1989: Vivre la France à Chantilly (France) 1991: Rendez vous japonais à Chantilly (Japan) 1992: Chantilly à l'Italienne Made of Aluminium Made in France by the company "Plaques et Flots" TAUPINARD (Handmade work for quality results. Each mold is produced only once and broken after use to make each unique model) Stirrup Shaped Colorways: The plates are in the colors of the flag of the country honored Carriage with the H symbol in the middle of each plate A hole on top allows to hang them Measurements: around 13,2 cm at longest, 16 cm Height, 4 mm Width (5,2 x 6,3 x 0,15 inches) Condition: Very Good.
