About the Item

19th century India for the internal market Amazing pelmet or panel of tent or Indian palace dating from the nineteenth century. Very fine embroidery with polychrome floche silk thread with large borders of flowers of the indies and undulating stems of type Moghole. Three large almond motifs in the center and spandrels on the corners, identical to the seventeenth century Indian. Very fine trimmings with matching trimmings and a piece entirely lined with brick-red dyed cotton. In a state of conservation and exceptional colour. Measurement: 528 cm long, 91 cm high.
