REDUCED FROM $650....Beautiful Meiji Period blue and white Japanese Imari Charger with medallions depicting different scenes and subjects. The scalloped large medallion on left depicting birds perched on a flowering tree. On right medallion a Phoenix flying among floating flowers. The two small medallions on top and bottom has coins, a fan and fake beard (?) for ko performances. The back has stylized depictions of waves. Appropriate firing marks centered on back. There are a few rough areas along the rim and an unglazed area on mid right. Please look at images for a flaws. Beautiful large antique decorative platter Measurements: 16 3/4 inches diameter and 2 1/2 inches high.
