Of square form with canted corners, sloping shoulder and slightly flaring neck, brightly and boldly enamelled in vibrant tones, with the sides of the body and shoulder variously enamelled with figures in landscapes, qilin, deer, peony and lotus, the flaring neck with symbols of the Four Scholarly Pursuits, books, paintings, weiqi and qin
