OKIMONO EN BRONZE FIN REPRÉSENTANT UN HÉRON Japon, période Meiji (1868-1912) Un héron debout finement modelé, les pattes et les pieds finement texturés, les ailes et le plumage soigneusement incisés, les yeux dorés avec des pupilles incisées, l'oiseau détaillé avec un cou sinueux, un long bec et une crête, le bronze patiné d'un ton cuivré. HAUTEUR 25,6 cm (sans la base) et 28,2 cm (avec la base). POIDS 1 767 g État de conservation : Excellent état avec une usure mineure et des irrégularités de moulage. Monté sur une base en bois laqué noir.

    The charming figure, carved from a single piece of wood is exceptionally carved showing the male figure with humorous expression holding two Rabbits one by the ears and the second under his arm. A third Rabbit stands at the feet of the male looking up, each rabbit with a different expression.
