Pair of Small Ming Dynasty Pottery Figures
About the Item
Pair of small Ming Dynasty (1364-1644) terracotta polychrome figures, in excellent condition.
Here's a cute little couple, looking very spry for their age. Both figures are wearing brick red robes with green accents, and their faces are suggested with just their eyes, eyebrows, and mouths. The female figure is a tall red hat or headdress, while the male figure is bare-headed. They both have their hands tucked into the sleeves of their robes. While very simple, the figures are full of personality.
The figures are very well preserved, with no visible chips or cracks.
