Vintage famille Rose Porcelain plate with birds and flowers hand painted decorations.
Antique famille Rose Medallion Chinese Export Porcelain by Hong horizons.
Features highly detailed multi-hued panels portraying various scenes. Surrounded by a gold ground with rose flowers, birds and butterflies. The plate has a detailed chinoiserie pattern depicting a Chinese floral scene with flying birds and a very decorative floral border. The pattern is hand painted in various bold colors including cobalt blue, pink, yellow and green.
In fine condition no cracks or chips.
Size: is 8 in Diameter x 1.25 in Height.
Chinese Famille Rose porcelain was first developed for the export trade in the late 17th century.
A reproduction collection of porcelain was produced in the 1970s by Hong Horizons honoring that tradition.
