Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this absolutely sublime, circa 1920's Chinese Chinoiserie wall mirror with original foxed glass plate and period painted finish

A very decorative mirror, dating to the early 20th century circa 1920, it has the traditional lacquer finish which is usually on a black background, this is the only blue example I have ever seen. It has been as you can tell, hand decorated and painted in the Chinoiserie taste. The frame is oak, and the glass is the original plate which has a deep hew to it and bevelled edge, it also has some very nice foxing to the plate
We have cleaned waxed and polished it, there will be normal patina marks but this type of furniture lasts forever
