Pair of Chinese Carved Doors with Lattice Windows

Distinctive pair of Chinese carved doors featuring an open fretwork design lattice panel windows. The thick frames have an old world mortise and tenon joinery. Standing over 9.5 feet tall and 20.5 inches wide. Decorated with foliate motif inserts on the top and bottom of the window. The wood has a natural organic finish. These intricate courtyard doors were used to bring light and air into provincial homes. From an estate in Santa Barbara, CA.
