Bronze okimono depicting a study of a puppy playing with a ball. The puppy has a playful and curious expression as he interacts with the ball. The ball the dog plays with is also sculpted with lifelike detail, the patina of the bronze surface creating a subtle shine that reveals the sculpted details with even more clarity. This bronze okimono is signed Masayuki. Origin: Japan Period: Meiji second half of the 19th century. Dimensions: 13 x 18 x 13 cm. Weight 3kg. State of conservation: Very good
