An intriguing well drawn and composed Japanese impressionist oil on board painting of a captivating outdoor Noh Play in soft cream and earth tone colors, circa 1930 and in its period original frame. It is signed Shuichi. This is a Nagoya, Japan area estate find. Dimensions: Frame 19 inches high and 22 inches wide Site 11.25 inches high and 14.5 inches wide Quality: Well composed the colors are soft and serene. This is a work of art that is comfortable to live with. Its original frame is a genuine plus and suggests a pre- World War II epoch. There are no repairs or damages we can detect.
